Many University students fear the current reality of being a qualified graduate and yet not being able to find employment. Youth unemployment is a critical issue facing not only South Africa's youth but the world as well. A recent article by yesweb quoted, "The problem of youth unemployment is rapidly assuming dangerous proportions in many countries as their economies and educational systems are unable to accommodate these numbers of youth.
